SGS 2-33A drifts into a tree on a student's second solo after a slip recovery

A student pilot flying solo was killed and his SGS 2-33A substantially damaged when it drifted left into a tree on final at Blairstown and came to rest inverted in a field.   7. Inverted in a field by the trees: The glider rotated left, pitched steeply nose-down and descended into a grass field beside the tree line, coming to rest inverted.
