Incidente de aterrizaje en campo con Ka 8 B en Bazenheid resulta en daños significativos

El 1 de junio de 1966, un Alexander Schleicher Ka 8 B experimentó un aterrizaje en campo cerca de Bazenheid, Suiza. Durante su primer intento de vuelo de travesía, el piloto intentó aterrizar en un terreno inadecuado. El planeador logró superar dos obstáculos antes de descender rápidamente y sufrir daños significativos al impactar. Afortunadamente, no se reportaron heridos ni fallecidos en el incidente.

4. Obstacle avoidance: During the approach, the pilot pulled the glider over two obstacles before reaching the intended landing area.
5. Glider sinks through: After clearing the obstacles, the glider lost lift and sank rapidly toward the ground.
6. Outlanding - damage: The glider impacted the ground hard and was substantially damaged, but there were no injuries.
