Ka 2 incident at Olten airfield: collision with fence during landing
On July 3, 1966, an Alexander Schleicher Ka 2 was involved in an incident at Olten airfield in Switzerland. The pilot inadvertently flew with the dive brakes extended during an aerotow launch and subsequent landing. The aircraft collided with a fence, resulting in damage to the glider. Fortunately, the pilot remained uninjured. The investigation report was approved on October 3, 1966.

- Dive brakes left out: The glider was flown with the dive brakes inadvertently left extended, without the pilot realizing it, during the tow.
