On June 13, 1970, a Neukom Elfe S 2/3 P glider experienced a collision with a wire during an outlanding attempt near Oberrisch, Switzerland. The pilot, who was uninjured, was conducting a cross-country flight when he had to perform an outlanding due to diminishing altitude. During the final approach, the glider struck an unmarked wire, causing it to crash from a low height. The glider sustained significant damage, but there were no injuries reported.
