Am 24. Juli 1980 kam es zu einer Kollision in der Luft zwischen einem Glasflügel Libelle H301 und einem Glasflügel Kestrel H 401 nahe Bever, Schweiz. Beide Segelflugzeuge führten Schulungsflüge durch, nachdem sie vom Flugplatz Samedan gestartet waren. Die Kollision ereignete sich in etwa 3400 Metern Höhe, wobei der Kestrel unkontrollierbar wurde und abstürzte, während der Pilot mit einem Fallschirmabsprung mit leichten Verletzungen gerettet wurde. Die Libelle erlitt Schäden am linken Flügel, konnte jedoch sicher nach Samedan zurückkehren und landen.
