Am 18. April 1985 war ein Caproni Vizzola Calif A-21S Segelflugzeug in eine harte Landung am Flughafen Sion, Schweiz, verwickelt. Der Flug war ein Distanztraining, das von einem Fluglehrer und einem Piloten durchgeführt wurde.   7. Crash - serious injury: The glider impacted the ground hard and stopped almost immediately about 12 m before the runway threshold, seriously injuring the instructor while the other pilot was unhurt and the aircraft was destroyed.
