Am 9. August 2000 erlitt eine Alexander Schleicher ASK 21 eine harte Landung während eines Schulungsfluges in Rudolstadt, Deutschland. Der Fluglehrer übernahm die Kontrolle während des Landeanflugs, um die hohe Flughöhe des Schülers zu korrigieren.
